- The accompanying list of federal public-access electronic
- bulletin boards in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area is
- the third version of a list that I first compiled several
- months ago. It lists only those BBS's that really are open to
- the general public. BBS's that are restricted to specific
- classes of users, or which require justification for access,
- are not included. If I, a federal employee, felt
- uncomfortable about logging onto a given board, I did not
- include it on this list.
-
- This list was compiled from several BBS lists that one finds
- floating around on the bulletin boards. Chief among those was
- Mike Focke's monthly listing of BBS numbers. Thanks to Mike
- Focke and Jeff Morley for their work and dedication.
-
- I would like to keep this list as accurate and complete as
- possible. To do this, I need your help. Please let me know
- if there are any errors or omissions. I may be contacted at
- ALF, the National Agricultural Library BBS, (301) 344-8510.
